How Trust Scan works
Trust Scan works in two different ways:
- Examining member websites for known security vulnerabilities and alerting the website’s technical staff when an issue is found.
- Simulating a “hack attack” on the member website to compromise security.
The first step protects against known issues. The second step proves that the member website can stand up to a determined assault by the latest hacking techniques.
Trust Scan software
The Trust Scan TotalSecurity (SM) Suite is a web-based application that lives on our servers. Every day the software performs a simulated security assault on member websites and evaluates any known weaknesses, cataloging changes from previous tests. It’s similar to an antivirus software but on a much larger scale.
